Shelf-Life: 6 Grain Cereal Mix will store for 7 to 10 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place). Once
opened, it has an average shelf life of 6 to 12 months.
Instructions: For hot cereal add 1 part Six Grain Mix to 2 parts boiling water. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for 2 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and serve.
Uses: 6 Grain Cereal Mix is used to make wholesome oatmeal that’s rich in flavor and nutrients. It may also be used as a healthy replacement for oatmeal cookies, multi-grain breads, rolls and more.

Packaging: 6 Grain Cereal Mix is sealed air tight in a #10 can and weighs approximately 3 pounds. A case contains 6 #10 cans and weighs 18 pounds. Each can contains 54 servings. One serving size is ¼ cup.
Ingredients: Barley Flakes, White Wheat Flakes, Red Wheat Flakes, Rye Flakes, Rolled Oats, and Triticale Seeds.
Allergen information: Contains Wheat. This product is produced on equipment that processes products containing soy, wheat, egg, peanut, and tree nuts.

I've used this for years now - mostly cooked like hot oatmeal and we add raisins, cinnamon, freeze-dried apples, a bit of sugar, and sometimes some chopped walnuts and ground flax seed. The BEST! Keeps me full until lunch time. Eating plain oatmeal is like tasteless mush after you've tried this 6-grain!. I've also used it in bread and it gives it texture and taste beyond straight flour. Works great in meatloaf and cookies, cobbler topping, etc. I finally learned to buy it in 25 pound bags because anything less isn't enough! I've addicted three of my co-workers to 6-grain cereal, so now pick up extra supplies for them whenever I visit Honeyville.

I use this cereal a lot in baking and we eat it just like oatmeal. I also grind it up and use it for flour in breads and other baking. I use this in place of oats in many of my recipes. It adds flavor and texture. I now order this by the case. Thanks for a great product that serves so many options!

I use the 6 grain cereal to make maple nut granola. The finished product is a robust nutty flavor that my family and friends love. I can't keep up with the demands for this delicious granola. I owe the unique taste to the six grain cereal. Thanks for such a high quality product.

Obviously it's a great, healthy warm cereal but I recently started adding it to home baked bread and my family loves it. Adds great flavor and texture.
