Baby Lima Beans 25 LB

Honeyville's Baby Lima Beans are an excellent nutritional food source for emergency preparedness. Commonly referred to as butter beans, lima beans are rich in flavor and are loaded with fiber and protein. Lima beans have been a staple in different countries and widely used in Peru. The Peruvian culture also used lima beans in a lot of artwork. Honeyville Baby Lima Beans are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.

Shelf-Life:  Baby Lima Beans will store for 1 year in a sealed 25 pound bag under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).

Instructions:  Soak lima beans in water overnight and place in refrigerator. Drain beans. Add 4 parts water to 1 part soaked beans. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cook on simmer for 1 hour stirring occasionally and serve.

Uses:  Baby Lima Beans can be used to make casseroles, chili, soups and any recipe calling for baby lima beans.
