Honeyville's Flavor-Like Beef Chunks are actually a meat analogue product produced through a special extrusion process which provides a 100% vegetable product that approaches the texture and structure of meat. This highly nutritious meat substitute is processed from defatted soy flour which contains more than 52% protein along with 18% total dietary fiber. I use these whenever I make tacos, or anything that uses ground beef for that matter. Mix with equal parts of real ground beef. My husband can usually tell, but not the kids. Definiitely helps save money and stretch our meat budget! I'm a little leary to try the chicken/ham tvp, but the meat is definitely great!
