Honeyville's Dehydrated Carrots are produced in a process where moisture is removed in a special drying process called puff drying. The carrots are dehydrated to approximately 7% moisture. This process permits the carrots to maintain their orange color and typical fresh carrot taste when re-hydrated in water. The vitamin and nutrient qualities of fresh carrots are preserved so the taste is great, and the nutritional food value is preserved. When re-hydrated, it will maintain the texture and shape of fresh carrots with no shrinking or shriveling. Honeyville Dehydrated Carrots are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.

I needed a quick pot luck dish to take to church. Found a recipe for Carrot Souffle. These carrots were the perfect solution. I rehydrated them, put them in a blender, mixed in some powdered eggs and baked them. They were an awesome hit! I started giving them to the grand children as snacks out of the can. They love them! Can't wait to try some of the other cans.
