Honeyville's Freeze Dried Blueberries are light and crisp, while the flavors have the perfect balance of sweet and tart that only comes from the freshest blueberries.
You can use them for any application that calls for blueberries, including eating them right out of the can as a healthy snack. Honeyville's freeze dried blueberries are great for pancakes, muffins, smoothies, yogurt,
the possibilities are endless!
Honeyville Freeze Dried Blueberries are produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3 percent moisture remains in the product
at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh taste, natural color, and texture of blueberries.
When rehydrated, the product will absorb the liquid and resemble fresh blueberries once again. The taste is great, and the nutritional value is preserved. Freeze drying provides natural and additive
free fruits to be stored effectively for long periods of time. Honeyville Freeze Dried Blueberries are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.
Shelf-Life: Freeze Dried Blueberries will store for 10 to 15 years in a sealed small can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place). Once
opened, it has an average shelf life of 12 to 18 months.
Instructions: Add 3 parts water to 1 part blueberry. Allow Freeze Dried Blueberries to hydrate for about 20 minutes or until fully rehydrated. Honeyville Freeze Dried Blueberries can replace fresh prepared blueberries at a rate of 8 to 1. That means that each can of Freeze Dried Blueberries is the equivalent of about 1.5 pounds of fresh blueberries.
Uses: Freeze Dried Blueberries can be added directly to your favorite yogurts, oatmeals, or cereals. They can also be rehydrated in fruit recipes or eaten right out of the can as a healthy snack.

When summer starts to wane and the fruit pickins' are slim, we look forward to these fabulous blueberries. Each berrie is large and plump - unlike what you will find in grocery stores this time of year. They taste equally good out of the can or rehydrated in baking products. Try a great comparison test: buy a bag of frozen blueberries in your grocery store and buy a can of these freeze-dried berries. Let the frozen ones thaw and them eat a few. Wait awhile and then try the f.d. ones (especially yummy right out of the can) and see for yourself. The f.d. mango is great too!

Add a handful in a glass of water and you are in for a treat. I like to enjoy it about 10 minutes after they have soaked. That way you have a few crunchy ones and a few hydrated ones to chew on. Great for a dinner party to add a beautiful splash of color to water. Refreshing and healthy for you. LOVE IT!

This is the first time I have tried freeze dried fruit. I tossed a handful over my cheerios and poured on the milk. They were delicious! Then I tried making pancake topping with them. Even better. I have been hooked.
