Honeyville's Freeze Dried Blueberries taste like no other. The texture is light and crisp while the flavor has the perfect balance of sweet and tart that only comes from the freshest berries. With our freeze dried blueberries, you can use them for any application that requires blueberries. You can even eat them right out of the can as a healthy snack. Try Honeyville's freeze dried blueberries in anything from pancakes and muffins to smoothies and yogurt, the possibilities are endless!
Honeyville Freeze Dried Blueberries are produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3 percent moisture remains in the product at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh taste, natural color, and texture of blueberries in its freeze dried state.
When rehydrated, the blueberries will absorb the liquid and become fresh blueberries again. The taste is great, and the nutritional food value is preserved. Freeze drying provides natural and additive free fruits to be stored effectively for long periods of time. Honeyville Freeze Dried Blueberries are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.
Shelf-Life: Freeze Dried Blueberries will store for 10 to 15 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).
Instructions: Add 3 parts water to 1 part blueberry. Allow Freeze Dried Blueberries to hydrate for about 20 minutes or until fully rehydrated. Honeyville Freeze Dried Blueberries can replace fresh prepared blueberries at a rate of 8 to 1. That means that each can of Freeze Dried Blueberries is the equivalent of about 6 pounds of fresh blueberries.
Uses: Freeze Dried Blueberries can be added directly to your favorite yogurts, oatmeals, or cereals. They can also be rehydrated in fruit recipes or eaten right out of the can as a healthy snack.

i use these on cereal, with milk, and don't bother rehydrating them. They're excellent. very good blueberry flavor. It took me a month or more to get through a large can, but the last ones were still good.

I am not a blueberry kinda guy but my wife likes them. She thought that they were OK but did not want another can. I gave some to a friend of mine (BIG BLUEBERRY FAN) and he said on crunchy cereal they were great, also putting them in pancakes was great because it made them not chewy as they were normally. I liked them as much as I do fresh blueberries.
