Honeyville Freeze Dried Broccoli is produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3 percent moisture remains in the product
at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh taste, natural color, and texture of broccoli.
When rehydrated, the product will absorb the liquid and resemble fresh broccoli once again. The taste is great, and the nutritional value is preserved. Freeze drying provides natural and additive
free vegetables to be stored effectively for long periods of time. Honeyville Freeze Dried Broccoli is an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.
Shelf-Life: Freeze Dried Broccoli will store for 5 to 10 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).

I am in love with freeze dried foods. This broccoli tastes like fresh. It was mild, did not stink up my kitchen and is so easy to use. Much better than dehydrated. And this is a good price on a case! I put a cheese sauce over it. Simple, added boiling water, it says to add hot, but I did use boiling, stirred it, let it sit 20 minutes or so and it was ready. What could be easier!? No cutting, no chopping, no steaming, no throwing part of it away! Just use the amount needed at the time. It did not have the deep green color of fresh, but definitely had the flavor of fresh. And hidden in cheese sauce, no one cared about the color but were impressed it tasted like fresh. This is excellent. It all rehydrated excellently.

We are fans of broccoli and this is no exception. Our grandkids hate it, but they eat it at our house! I like to make dinner mixes for nights when I am short on time. I usually pair rice or dehydrated potato slices with veggies, spices and sometimes powdered butter. I seal them with my Foodsaver and just pull out a bag, add water, meat & simmer for 20 minutes. The perfect dinner for busy nights.
This broccoli goes in anything. We love it in stir fry, mac & cheese, and any one pot dinner. Grab a handful & start creating your own favorite recipes.
