Shelf-Life: Freeze Dried White Chicken will store for 10 to 15 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place). Once opened, freeze dried meat should be used within 1 month if refrigerated, 1 week if not.
Instructions: Add 1 cup of boiling water to ½ cup of Freeze Dried Chicken. Stir once, cover and let stand for 5 to 7 minutes. Drain off excess water and use the chicken as you would use fresh chicken.
Uses: Freeze Dried White Chicken can be used to make enchiladas, soups, salads, pastas and more.

Great for Soups/Stews

I have used these in soups and chicken and dumplings. I take the "powder" and mix it for chicken stock. It works great, much better than bouillon. I find that you have to let it soak longer than suggested, but if you are cooking with it, the liquid in the soups will make it just right. I even got brave enough to make chicken salad out of it. Although it was good, I will let it hydrate a little longer next time. I also mix a little of this into the cat food. It gives them a healthier meal and isn't nearly as expensive as store bought canned food.
