Honeyville's Freeze Dried Mangos taste like no other. The texture is light and crisp while the flavor has the perfect balance of sweet and tart that only comes from the freshest mangos. With our freeze dried mangos, you can use them for any application that requires mangos. You can even eat them right out of the can as a healthy snack. Try Honeyville's freeze dried mangos in anything from jams and cakes to smoothies and yogurt, the possibilities are endless!
Honeyville Freeze Dried Mangos are produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3 percent moisture remains in the product at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh taste, natural color, and texture of mangos in its freeze dried state.
When rehydrated, the mangos will absorb the liquid and become fresh mangos again. The taste is great, and the nutritional food value is preserved. Freeze drying provides natural and additive free fruits to be stored effectively for long periods of time. Honeyville Freeze Dried Mangos are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.
Shelf-Life: Freeze Dried Mangos will store for 5 to 10 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).
Instructions: Add 3 parts water to 1 part mango. Allow Freeze Dried Mangos to hydrate for about 20 minutes or until fully rehydrated. Honeyville Freeze Dried Mangos can replace fresh prepared mangos at a rate of 8 to 1. That means that each can of Freeze Dried Mangos is the equivalent of about 5.25 pounds of fresh mangos.
Uses: Freeze Dried Mangos can be added directly to your favorite yogurts, oatmeals, or cereals. They can also be rehydrated in fruit recipes or eaten right out of the can as a healthy snack.

These are very tasty and delicious! I bought a #10 can to try it. I opened the can this late afternoon -- three-fourths of it is already gone. My family of four loves this! I'm buying more. Much better than I expected.

I'm a first time buyer and am surprised at how good freeze dried fruit is in general and impressed with these mangos. I almost didn't try the freeze dried fruit because of the cost, but glad I did. - a good value and good tasting to boot.

These freeze dried mangos are the best next to fresh, and much easier to eat! I have never found a mango product that really tastes like mangos, until now. They are great for snacking, no added sugar and delicious. Also great for adding to smoothies, desserts etc. The only problem that I can see is keeping them around! I do hope that they make them available in smaller containers for traveling etc.

First of all, I'm a mango lover (and eat them a lot in Asia during the summers), but I'm turned off at so-called natural mango slices/pieces in trail mixes or dehydrated/dried sugar-laden slices. I decided to give the Honeyville product a try. Excellent, hands down. The drawback: It satisfies my need for crunchy snacking and is so tasty that I ate the whole can in less than a week.
