Shelf-Life: Freeze Dried Mozzarella Cheese will store for 5 to 10 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).
Instructions: Mix 1 tablespoon of mozzarella cheese to 2 tablespoons of warm water. Allow Freeze Dried Mozzarella Cheese to hydrate for about 5 minutes or until fully rehydrated. Honeyville Freeze Dried Mozzarella Cheese can replace fresh prepared cheese at a rate of 4 to 1. That means that each can of Freeze Dried Mozzarella Cheese is the equivalent of about 7 pounds of fresh mozzarella cheese.
Uses: Freeze Dried Mozzarella Cheese can be used separately or in combination with casseroles, soups, salads, tacos and more.
Packaging: Freeze Dried Mozzarella Cheese is sealed air tight in a #10 can and weighs approximately 1.75 pounds. A case contains 6 #10 cans and weighs 10.5 pounds. Each can contains 137 servings. One serving size is 1 tablespoon.
Ingredients: Part-Skim Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes, Microcrystalline Cellulose (added to prevent caking).
Allergen information: Contains Milk. This product is produced on equipment that processes products containing soy, wheat, egg, peanut, and tree nuts.

Great addition to food storage

Just received this item and was anxious to use it. It rehydrated nicely and tasted just like fresh cheese. I made a receipe from it and it melted and was delicious! I have to buy another one for storage and I don't think this will be around too long. Again, "Cookin Cousin's" and Chef Tess are certainly helping us learn new ways with food storage! Thanks.

I re-hydrated it and spread it on bread with pizza sauce, out of the oven well, I am Surprised, and Elated. Great stuff!
