Each #10 can contains 1.25 pounds of Freeze Dried Sweet Corn.
Honeyville's Freeze Dried Corn is produced when moisture is removed from the fresh sweet corn using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3% moisture remains in the freeze dried corn at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90%, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh corn taste, natural color, and texture of fresh sweet corn in it's freeze dried state. When re-hydrated with water, freeze dried sweet corn will maintain the texture and shape of fresh corn, with no shrinking or shriveling. Each can contains about 40 1/4 cup servings of Freeze Dried Corn.
Freeze Dried and Dehydrated products are less expensive than wet pack food because you are not paying for all the water. The taste is great, the nutritional food value is excellent. Freeze drying provides natural and additive free fruits and vegetables to be stored effectively for long periods of time. Well, I can't tell you personally what this product tastes like, because it's already gone. I don't care for corn all that much, but do put it in soups, stews and mexican dishes. I'm having to order more just to try it because it has dissapeard by the handfulls from the #10 can. Therefore...this isn't necessarily my review, but it does speak for itself. It dissapeared fast and I'm already being asked when more is coming in. Apparently it tastes just like fresh corn even before rehydration and is the #1 snackfood of choice at my house! 'Nough Said.

I love this corn right out of the can. It is light and sweet and has a shocking fresh flavor. I eat it by the handful instead of potato chips or salty snacks. Thanks for the great products and great prices!~

Well, I might buy some really good fresh corn, but it would have to be superb. Nothing else will beat this for taste, texture, and usability. The only problem is I have to keep the can under lock and key or my five children will devour it in a matter of seconds, straight out of the can. Perfect for using in snack mixes. They love it and so do I.

This tastes great just to munch on as a snack right out of the can. It is just like the freeze dried sweet corn Gerber sells for toddlers only much cheaper. My little ones think this is a great crunchy snack!
