Honeyville's Freeze Dried Sweet Corn is light and crisp, while the flavors have the perfect balance of sweet and tart that only comes from the freshest corn.
You can use them for any application that calls for corn, including eating them right out of the can as a healthy snack. Honeyville's freeze dried sweet corn is great for side dishes, casseroles, salads, soups,
the possibilities are endless!
Honeyville Freeze Dried Sweet Corn is produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3 percent moisture remains in the product
at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh taste, natural color, and texture of corn.
When rehydrated, the product will absorb the liquid and resemble fresh corn once again. The taste is great, and the nutritional value is preserved. Freeze drying provides natural and additive
free vegetables to be stored effectively for long periods of time. Honeyville Freeze Dried Sweet Corn is an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.
Shelf-Life: Freeze Dried Sweet Corn will store for 10 to 15 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place). Once
opened, it has an average shelf life of 12 to 18 months.
Instructions: Add 3 parts water to 1 part corn. Allow Freeze Dried Sweet Corn to hydrate for about 20 minutes or until fully rehydrated.

Wow, double wow and triple wow! This is a totally great product. So light but lightly sweet and SUPER yummy straight from the can! You don't even need to hydrate this one! Make sure you buy at least one extra case for emergencies. Try to buy at least two cans at a time til you build up a good backup supply.
THIS ONE SURPASSES CHOCOLATE!!! It's better, it's lighter and a ton healthier!
Popcorn eaters this one is heavier on calories but I think you'll find the trade off totally worth it.
Back to munching!

This corn tastes so good. We hydrated some and could not believe the flavor. It is far better than frozen corn. It is on par with corn that was just taken off the cob and cooked.

I was out of town when my wife first tried these, and she emailed me, "the corn is DELICIOUS!!!! I haven’t tried it cooked yet, but I was eating handfuls right out of the can. I prefer that to popcorn. It’s very sweet corn."
After adding it to a soup, it was great cooked as well.
Highly recommended.

Who can get this corn cooked? It is delicious right out of the can! My "no vegetables, thank you" daughter loves this corn as a quick snack, and my husband and I do, too! Thank you, Honeyville Farms, for this yummy corn! Thank you, too, to The Survival Mom, for pointing me in this direction! You will not regret purchasing this corn. Buy a case to save shipping more next week!

These never made it into recipes. We ate it
Straight out of the can. Very sweet and satisfies
The sweet tooth. Makes a healthy snack, much
Better for you than high fat salty snacks that
We often reach for. They are however just as addictive
In that I had to order more because we were out
In a week or so.
