Shelf-Life:  Gourmet Scone Mix will store for 1 to 3 years in a sealed plastic bag within a 7.5 inch by 6 inch box under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).

Instructions:  Dissolve 2 ½ teaspoons of dry active yeast in 1 cup warm water. Add 3 cups of scone mix. Knead until smooth and elastic, cover and let rest for 20 minutes. Roll out dough to ¼ inch, then cut out scones to desired size. Fry in vegetable oil at 375°F. Gently turn the scone until it turns a light golden brown on each side and serve.

Uses:  Makes delicious flakey scones. For added variety add 1/2 cup of your favorite Honeyville dried fruit. They taste great when sprinkled with powdered sugar, or top your scone with fresh fruit and whipped cream for a unique treat.

Packaging:  Gourmet Scone Mix is packaged in a box and weighs approximately 2 pounds. A case contains 12 boxes and weighs 24 pounds. Each box makes about 15 medium-sized scones.

Ingredients:  Wheat Flour Enriched (Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrat, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Potassium Bromate, Sugar, Shortening, Whey, Salt, Whole Egg with Sodium Silicoaluminate, Calcium sulfate, L-cysteine hydrochloride and ascorbic acid.
