Love Hi-Maize. It add it to my homemade bread recipe -- it makes the bread very crispy - excellent toasted. Also, I'm not as hungry when I eat bread made with Hi-Maize. I'm on a weight loss program and I believe it's helping me to lose more weight.

Fabulous, but large bag a bit hard to handle.

I ordered a 50lb bag as I have a large family and my parents live down the road. Initially, I intended to order more of the smaller bags, but chose the bigger for the cost effectiveness.
I had no idea what to expect of the product itself... I mistakenly assumed something a bit more "grainy" ... however the consistency of Hi-Maize is just like cornstarch! I'm not suggesting that this is bad (in fact, it will be great for the actual recipes), but pouring 50lbs of "cornstarch" into a container is a bit, um, DUSTY! It is soooo finely ground, that it ended up in a lot of unintended places. The kids thought it was great ... and I'm certainly NOT complaining. Just wanted to forewarn anyone else that might think a simple task to divide up the bag... Not at all impossible, just a little more work than initially intended.
Looking forward to actually using some soon ... and will report back when I do. Thank you, Honeyville for the great looking recipes specifically for Hi-Maize.

Hi-Maize Fiber has helped Multiple Health Issues

My family just finished our first 5 lb. bag of Hi-Maize Fiber, and I am ordering my next immediately. We look for ways to use it every day, multiple times per day. My husband likes it mixed into scrambled eggs because he likes the way it softens the egg flavor. I use it to help control my hypoglycemia, which it does quite well. It maintains my blood sugar level for much longer than it would normally last. I have also been able to stop the medications I used to control my IBS, because Hi-Maize has settled down my intestinal track like it hasn't been in years. It also has resolved digestive issues that my 4 year old had without having to resort to medicines. I am adding this product to more dishes every month, because the changes are so phenomenal in our bodies and the way we all feel. Give it a try!
