Shelf-Life: Long Grain Brown Rice will store for 1 year in a sealed 50 pound bag under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).
Instructions: Measure 1 part rice to 2 parts water. Combine in a large pot and set to medium heat. Cook until boiling, then wait 1 minute and then reduce heat to low and cover. Leave on low for 15 minutes and serve.
Uses: Long Grain Brown Rice can be used to make pastas, stir fry, and any recipe calling for rice.

Good rice, crummy bag

Same comments as other reviewers. Good rice but issues with tears in the bag everytime I order. Haven't had the issue with other products such as 50 lb bags of oats.

Good rice, needs better packaging.

One of three separated shipments burst the bag, about an inch opening along and below the opening stitching, which loses you some rice inside the box.
UPS is not kind to heavy boxes - they get swept off the top shelf onto the floor, sometimes.

The 50 lbs of brown rice was packaged in paper bag and shipped in a box.When I opened the box,there was a 12 " gash on the paper bag.About a lb. of rice was loose inside the box.Honeyville needs better packaging like using plastic or canvas. Otherwise the rice is good and the price is right.
