This cheese powder was much better than I expected. You do have to use a LOT to get a good cheese flavor because it's a little bland with the mixture they suggest on the can.
Still, it smells good, was fresh, and has made it easier to make cheesy dishes without a lot of fuss.

Well, Honeyville Farms did actually publish the negative review I posted - kudos to them for not censoring unfavorable reviews like so many other sites. I guess that means you can trust these reviews a little more then you may otherwise - nice for the rest of us. : )
As for an addendum, I've been using a concentration of 2:1 or 2.25:1 water-to-sauce, and the results are pretty good. A nice cheesy flavor, thick enough to hold together (ie; no longer soup-like), no need for additional butter, though I frequently add some powdered milk substitute as well - about a tablespoon per half cup cheese powder. Adding a sharp salsa makes for great mexican dishes, and mixing with broccoli, cauliflower, and chicken is also a simple, tasty dish.

In addition to erythritol for homemade soda, I picked up a can of this as well - I've been looking for a good, shelf-stable cheese mix for adding zest and flavor to dishes, without needing to worry about whipping up a cheese sauce from scratch.
Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed by a bland, flavorless taste, though it's texture was agreeable, though at a slightly higher concentration then listed: 1:3, rather then 1:4. Even at that concentration, though, the taste was still hardly present, and the aftertaste/mouthfeel wasn't terribly satisfying either.
In short, expect to add a lot of stronger flavors in order to use this sauce in a satisfactory recipe - this will turn into just a thick/fatty carrier, not a flavor. <sigh> Too bad. : |

Your powdered cheese is wonderful, and economical as well. I use it in many things, including instant potatoes, which changes potatoes from boring, to delicious. Also scalloped potatoes. Thank you!

Tried your powdered cheese sauce, and my family gave it a unanimous thumbs up for macaroni and cheese. I will be ordering more. Thank you!
