Honeyville's Powdered Egg Whites have been used commercially for years, but are now available for convenient home use. The eggs are dried using a special technique pasteurized in the USA for optimal quality and safety. Dried egg whites are full of protein and low in fat, cholesterol, and carbohydrates. In recipes that call for egg whites, there is no waste in egg yolk and no more waiting for egg whites to come to room temperature. Eliminating waste and saving time are only a few of the advantages in using powdered egg whites.
We use the highest-grade eggs for our dried egg whites and always make freshness a priority. Because powdered egg whites do not need to be refrigerated after opening, they conserve energy and shelf space. If you are searching for ways to reduce fat and cholesterol in dishes traditionally calling for whole eggs, dehydrated egg whites make a healthy substitute. Honeyville Powdered Egg Whites are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.
Shelf-Life: Powdered Egg Whites will store for up to 3 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).
Instructions: To make one egg white, mix 2 teaspoons of Powdered Egg Whites with 2 tablespoons of hot water. Honeyville's Powdered Egg Whites are equivalent to about 255 large fresh egg whites in each can.
Uses: Powdered Egg Whites can be used for anything that calls for egg whites in the recipe, including baked goods and more.

I use these mostly to mix with whole eggs for breakfast (scrambled eggs, omlettes, etc.) to reduce the cholesteral while maintaining a high protein breakfast. (This is much more economical than buying fresh egg white only products, and they are shelf stable, so not storage or expiration date issues!) They also work for foods using whipped egg whites. You don't have to figure out what to do with the yolks, or worry about separating the eggs (even a bit of yolk can ruin a batch of whipped egg whites). They whip up reliably fluffy.

These egg whites are perfect for me. As I have the equivalent of a dozen scrambled egg whites for breakfast every morning. They are tasty with a little seasoning or with salsa, ketchup.....whatever you desire.
Much easier to make than normal whole eggs and you don't have to worry about wasting the yolk.
Love them

We bought these in a 6-combo. I tried hand-mixing them into one of those little 3-minute microwave chocolate cakes and they made it into a quasi angel food cake without any further fuss. They are definitely the real thing. We didn't buy more because we are not using them very quickly. I am considering trying them mixed with the whole egg for scrambling, to see if they will make the scrambled eggs hold together better. That would also dilute the cholesterol of the whole eggs.

I have made several batches of Almond Meringues and my husband has asked for more. The egg whites whip up great, especially with a KA. I have also used the egg whites in making homemade pizza crusts. I will definitely be buying this product in the future. It is a little tricky in mixing whites with water, but as long as it can be done in a mixer on a low setting until frothy, you have no problem with the end result.
