6 Grain Rolled Cereal 50 LB

I purchased this cereal for long term storage but kept a large container for current use as a hot cereal. I made the cereal today and it is outstanding..I will never use old fashioned oats again as this is far superior. I'm looking forward to using this product in my bread recipes as well as my granola recipes.

We have been buying this cereal for almost 2 years and it is terrific. The texture is perfect and it has a great taste. After deciding most commercial oatmeal was horrid, i bought a very expensive 6 grain cereal widely sold in heath food stores. This is as good and a far better price. Thanks Honeyville.

FYI - I received this product in a 50# bag today. The ingredients differed from what is listed in the online description. There were no sunflower seeds and the ingredients listed on the bag I received had Triticale - a hybrid of wheat % rye in it's place. That was disappointing to me.

I make granola with the six grain and it is better than anything you can buy at the store because you can add what you like yourself. You can add Honeyville's dried fruits you have own hand.

I like hot cereal but it doesn't mean it has to be mush! I love this cereal!!! I haven't baked with it yet but the picture of the rolls above looks yummy! If you like to chew your cereal this is for you.

This product is super. My husband and I had it for breakfast this morning with a little brown sugar. I had been buying a well known brand (not any more), this is cheaper and has a better taste and texture. I will share this product with my friends and family. THANKS! HONEYVILLE!

I was first introduced to the cereal when a friend made an order by mistake. I asked her if I could try it before she threw it out. I have tried this in bread , "excellent", best I have every made. I have tried it as a cereal "excellent" love the nutty flavor and the rich texture. I have tried this in granola, loved it! Some mistakes just make life that much better and this one did. My friend won't sell me what she has now, I had to order my own 50lb bag!

I make granola (I can control how much fat and sugar goes in it) and like to start with mixed rolled grains. The small packages at our local bulk food store have become so-o-o expensive, I decided to try a 50-lb bag of this product. When it arrived, I repackaged it into 3 pound bags for easier storage and measuring. Because I'm making granola for just two of us, one of those 3-lb bags is enough for two batches. So approx. 32 batches of granola from a 50-lb bag of 6-grain rolled cereal, all of them really enjoyable eating. I tried some of this product as cooked cereal, but frankly, we like the granola much much better. I think the cooked cereal would be a fine addition to bread, but haven't tried it.

I use the 6 grain mix in granola and it is great. We also cook it like oatmeal. It isn't as "sticky" as oatmeal and has a womderful nutty flavor.
