I mixed 1 cup of these strawberries with 1 cup of regular jam and added about 3/4 cup of water and poured into blender. Makes a syrupy jam with 50% less sugar. Taste is excellent.

my kids and I love these! when compared to the small packages you can get everywhere else, the price is vrey reasonable for the large can. They like to eat them straight out of the can. I add them to my GF LC hot cereal and to muffins and cupcakes. They are very tasty and so nicely crispy then melt in your mouth.

I have bought these to add to homemade trail mixes for my children to add some extra nutrition. They love these. I have had to try hard not to let them (or my husband) finish them in one sitting.

Love the berries

I originally sought out an online supplier of freeze dried strawberries after the local Trader Joe's stopped carrying them. So I went online and Googled freeze dried strawberries and Honeyville was one of the hits. That was probably 4/5 yrs ago and I've been ordering ever since. I originally bought Honeyville Strawberries because, while I liked the Special K Red berries cereal, I don't like the fact that it is a sweetened cereal and they aren't very generous with the amt of berries. I do, however, like Special K and other unsweetened cereals. So now I can add the amount of berries I like and know that the cereal I eat has less sugar.
They ARE expensive, but so worth it.
I find that during the MD humid summers they aren't "crispy" any more so as a routine practice, I've taken to keeping them in the freezer where it's a little drier. I've noticed lately that the plastic tops seem a little more brittle than they used to be and crack more easily. Might be my imagination.
I didn't care as much for the freeze dried peaches...maybe it's the format, but they never soften up. I wish they were thinly sliced instead of diced.
The blueberries are quite good, too.
All in all good products and the service is really great. I get the berries pretty quickly after I place my order.

they are way to expensive. However - they are so delicious and taste much better than a strawberry that has travelled in winter all the way from mexico. And we love the dust at the bottom of the can - we stirred it into homemade yogurt, to make the most divine strawberry yogurt. Yummmmmmo, but $$$$$$$$$ for a family of 6 that would go through a lare can in a week (or less)

Loved freezed dried Strawberries and these taste great, but the are sliced to skinny. Would love them better if they would slice them just a bit thicker.

Great Strawberry Flavor - Slightly Tart

I ordered two large cans of freeze dried strawberries, one to try right away, another for storage. The slices are medium thickness and beautiful in color. They are wonderful right out of the can - hard to stop munching on them. They have a nice taste and texture - though they can be slightly tart as they are unsweetened. They are perfect on cereal too. I initially bought them for long term storage, but now I plan to stock them in my pantry for daily use.

My 4 kids love these. They enjoy cereals such as Special K with strawberries and were always fighting over who got more strawberries in their bowl - now everyone is happy because I just add some of these and everyone has plenty. They are also great for babies learning how to chew and for a healthy snack that travels easy (no refigeration and not messy).

The freeze dried strawberries, look just like fresh sliced strawberries. They are tart but have a very good taste. Our granddaughters really liked them. I will have to order another can for storage. Our first can is half gone in three days.

We snack on the freeze dried strawberries straight from the can. They have a deliciously strong strawberry taste, with a tart bite to some of them (as with fresh strawberries). The pieces were nice and big - not much breakage - but a fair amount of powdered strawberry at the bottom of the can.

Got my first "test" order of Honeyville products today. Opened strawberries to get a taste. They are wonderful right out of the can and will be a keeper on my storage shelf from now on. If the rest of the products are as good as this, you guys are great!

I wish these were not cut so thinly,a lot of the can is small pieces because they cut these very thinly. If the cut was thicker, I would continue to buy.

but were very happy with product. Only complaint is this was my 2nd order from Honeyville and they forgot 1/2 order again. Two orders I've made and twice they only sent half order. Please work on shipping dept.

I want a snack, Mom!

When your 7 year old asks for a snack and prefers 100% natural freeze dried strawberries over all the other "junk" that he could be eating, you know you've found something good. We have been eating your strawberries for approx 3 years now and we all love them (even our Maltipoo). Alex will literally drag out a bowl and fill it up with strawberries for a snack - anytime of day - and I can never complain about that. He loves them packed in his lunch, for breakfast, for after-school snack, and for the late night munchies. I should literally get set up on auto delivery for these things - they are that good and disappear that fast!
Thanks Honeyville for another superior product!

After growing frustrated with good looking but tasteless strawberries at the grocery store, we tried these and absolutely love them. The flavor is intense and reliable. They are very convenient for packing in my daughter's lunch and make a healthful snack. Smaller pieces are great on cereal and yogurt. Fine pieces are perfect for smoothies.

Not quite as sweet as some fresh strawberries that I've tasted, but hard to put away and not keep eating them out of the can. Surprised at how good freeze dried fruit is in general and impressed with these strawberries.

BE CAREFUL! These are addictive! They give you a little of the crunch satisfaction and definetely tame the sweet tooth.
These are of course more expensive than the standard fresh strawberries, but to have a healthy/tasty snack without having to worry about refrigeration or "bad" spots, these are totally worth it!
I bought 2 large cans to see if I liked them and wish I would've bought a full case.

they are stale, not crispy/crunchy unlike the ones from trader joe's. taste is not the same from the other brand that i tasted. if not for the 15% coupon, i wouldn't have had ordered them. shipping took longer than i expected.

These are the greatest. My son is a very picky eater and I was spending money on the small packeages for kids. These are the best and he eats them right out of the can. The whole family eats them as well.

If you like strawberries you will love these. I had to make myself put the can away I could not stop munching. I used to buy dehydrated strawberries at a large chain store but they do not carry them anymore. It was a small package(1/2 oz) and was high priced ($5.97). These freeze dried strawberries are very tasty and a great value. To heck with cooking or sprinkling, pop the can open and dig in! Trust me if you try them you will be hooked!

I love these and so do my children. They are precisely like the strawberries you find in cold cereal, which we adore. Now any cereal can become strawberry cereal. Chop them a bit and add to rice crispie treats. Add to hot oatmeal. Sprinkle over ice cream. Reconstitute and add to muffins. Make strawberry butter. It's a great price when compared to fresh, and has a much longer shelf life.
