Must Have

When summer starts to wane and the fruit pickins' are slim, we look forward to these fabulous blueberries. Each berrie is large and plump - unlike what you will find in grocery stores this time of year. They taste equally good out of the can or rehydrated in baking products. Try a great comparison test: buy a bag of frozen blueberries in your grocery store and buy a can of these freeze-dried berries. Let the frozen ones thaw and them eat a few. Wait awhile and then try the f.d. ones (especially yummy right out of the can) and see for yourself. The f.d. mango is great too!

FABULOUS

Add a handful in a glass of water and you are in for a treat. I like to enjoy it about 10 minutes after they have soaked. That way you have a few crunchy ones and a few hydrated ones to chew on. Great for a dinner party to add a beautiful splash of color to water. Refreshing and healthy for you. LOVE IT!

This is the first time I have tried freeze dried fruit. I tossed a handful over my cheerios and poured on the milk. They were delicious! Then I tried making pancake topping with them. Even better. I have been hooked.

These freeze dried blueberries are a great snack out of the can. Rehydrated they are big and plump, used them to make muffins that were great.

Freeze-dried blueberries

Used these for the first time in muffins. They added great color to the muffins but not much flavor. However, I believe they are still a great addition as I'm undoubtedly getting nutrition value from the blueberries. Easy to use, too!
