Freeze Dried White Chicken LARGE CAN

I use this often and it doesn't disappoint. As others have said, it would be difficult to tell the end result came from freeze-dried chicken. Keep in mind that as with non-freeze-dried chicken, it's easy to overcook. While there is usually a fair bit of "chicken powder" in the can I consider it a bonus for casseroles, soups, etc.

This was my first time to order online the freeze dried chicken to use in Chef Tess' meals in jars. I was very disapointed in the quality of this product. I maybe had 4 to 5 cups of chicken pieces. The rest was powder. Don't know if I would order this product again, maybe it was just a bad can.

I was totally amazed at how good this tastes! Would never have known it was not fresh pieces of chicken! VERY GOOD!! I'll be buying more! :)

We tried this at a local retail business. You would have never known it was dehydrated(freeze dried) chicken, onions and celery in the chicken salad it just needed a little salt. I am now ordering other items from Honeyville. Very tasty, thank you for such high quality foods.

I haven't used it in everything yet, had to buy another can, but everything I tried it in works great. Tastes great. Will be a nice addition to our camping and hiking meals.

I also use this for soup, salads etc. easy to use, great flavor, and easy storage.

I have four cats that love freeze dried chicken. So much so that we call it Cat Crack. It seemed as if I was constantly running to the store to buy 4 oz bags of this stuff and paying a small fortune for each bag. This #10 can will last for quite awhile and will make four cats extremely happy. They get chunks as treats, which is much better than processed treats full of corn and wheat and other things cats absolutely don't need. Some of it gets crushed and sprinkled on their wet food, which is also a great way to get picky cats to eat their food. My boss' dog also loves this. I have never used freeze dried chicken myself but I do plan on trying it at least once to make chicken salad. The only bad thing about this is that as the chunks shift around during shipping they break down into powder. This may not be great if you're feeding it to your family but it's great if you want some powdered chicken for your pets' food.

This chicken is wonderful, I have used it in making soup, salads, sandwiches, and casserols. The chicken is tender and delicious, even my picky eaters really like this chicken.
