I would order several of the 60 serving Freeze Dried Meats for different family members but we do not want anything with soy and prefer just the meat.

I too am allergic to soy and wheat! I also don't want to feed growing boys things with soy in them. Guess I will come up with my own alternative. Sorry people, you lost another sale!

I concur with others who would like to buy a single type meat in smaller pouches. I cannot eat wheat or soy so some of the products are a big waste to me.
The cans are too large to use in a reasonable amount of time...I am thinking survival situations, for example, where refrigeration may not be available. Just look at the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy on the east coast.
Plain, unseasoned, freeze-dried meats and the ability to put together a custom package of pouches.

Would like just the pure meat in packages as I am allergic to wheat and soy. Seems I can't find any packages to make my own go pack. MRE's have soy. Mountain house has soy. I buy the freeze dried fruits and veggies and can get them in smaller packages but can't find plain meat.

Perfect for my boat!

I have a thirty foot house boat and I keep these on board because they are packaged well, easily stored and will last indefinitely. The "dried meats" bucket is the only package manufactured by Wise that contains real meat and chicken instead of TVP they are relatively low in sodium and there are no trans fats! I have only one complaint. The serving count is a bit misleading. It takes all four 1/4 cup servings to equal a "full meal".
As for "Honeyville" I cannot say enough good things. The customer service is excellent, the shipping rate is as low as it gets and the products they sell are of the highest quality. I have been ordering from them for several years and have not been disappointed yet!

Mix & Match Pouches Within Cans?

I concur with the other comments. We need unseasoned meat in pouches.
Also, once the #10 can is opened, we need to use the product rather quickly. So I would like a #10 can that holds a variety of pouches; for example, 1 egg pouch, 2 chicken pouches, 1 beef pouch.

I agree with the other commentors. Just meat would be excellent. Then the purchaser would be able make what ever they wished without be stuck making cheesy ground beef. AND. . . much easier for storage, meat wouldn't go moist once a #10 can is opened for extended periods of time. Oh it would be so great! I love your products but the meat mylar, 4 serving pouches would be great!

I am allergic to wheat, milk, and a lot of food additives, so I cannot order this because almost all the meat is "seasoned" with things I can't have. But I don't know about ordering huge #10 cans of just meat, when it's just my husband and I... it would take a LONG time to go through such a big can. I wish you had smaller packets like this with JUST PLAIN MEAT and/or veggies, so I could mix and match and use them to create my own convenient meals with foods I can eat.
