Soy Protein Isolate 44 LB

Soy used to be the little beans that evoked blank stares or wrinkled noses. But these days soy is a featured ingredient in foods that are tasty and good for the heart, too. The Food and Drug Administration announced this year that soy can reduce the risk of heart disease when included in a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, due to research at the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at Urbana-Champaign. As little as 20 grams of soy a day will lower cholesterol levels, according to the FDA. Soy is in foods that range from muffins to ice cream to honey-roasted nuts to soy-injected hams and roasts.

ARDEX F is an isolated soy protein that is produced for specialty food applications. Heated aqueous dispersions exhibit a relatively low viscosity. It is both an emulsifier and an emulsion stabilizer. Because of it's low flavor and odor profile, ARDEX F may be combined with sweet dairy whey for use as a non-fat dry milk replacer in various foods such as margarine, batters, and confections. It may also be used in imitation dairy-type products, nutritional applications, baby foods, and sauces.
